Miranda Sanchez (PA-C )

Miranda Sanchez is a board-certified Physician Assistant who completed her training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2017. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at The University of Texas at Dallas, where she graduated with honors. After graduation from the Physician Assistant program, She realized her passion for psychiatry-Mental health and started working as a physician assistant for a private practice group.

Ms. Sanchez provides culturally sensitive and evidence-based care to all of her patients. She is a dedicated, compassionate provider who takes pride in caring for the adult and geriatric populations and treats a wide variety of psychiatric disorders across the lifespan, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, panic attacks, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, Cognitive impairment, and many more. She is open-minded, compassionate, and excited to help her patient live to the best of their abilities.

​Ms. Sanchez is an excellent listener and has a particular interest in counseling and therapy. She uses a client-centered approach and works through collaborative techniques. She believes with the proper support, a person can grow, learn, and recover. This can be accomplished through exploration, problem solving, identifying achievable goals, and making a plan of action.

Ms. Sanchez grew up in the Houston area and has a passion for giving back to the community that has given her so much. In her free time, Ms. Sanchez enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.
