Jouse Munoz (APRN, FNP, PMHNP-BC)

Josue Munoz  ( Josh ) is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) specializing in treating populations across their lifespans with anxiety, depression, psychosis,  schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, ADHD, phobias, and dementia related disorders.

He graduated from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2012 with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He has worked as a Charge Nurse and a Clinical Nursing Supervisor in various inpatient settings. After working for several years in nursing, he developed an interest in the provider role. He always felt he has a personality and a passion for psychiatry and mental health. He decided to specialize and received his Post master’s degree in Psychiatry from UT Health of Houston in 2020.

His approach is to treat patients holistically, intending to have them live positive, rewarding lives. He prides himself on his down-to-earth, caring,  and empathic personality, enhancing the patient-provider bond’s strength and developing better customized and individualized treatment plans that provide the best patient outcomes.

Josh enjoys spending time with family, friends, reading, and staying active during his time off.
