Dr.Loya is Triple board-certified psychiatrist, he specializes in General psychiatry, hospital consultations, and Geriatric psychiatry.

Dr.Loya graduated from Dow medical college and completed his residency in Psychiatry from the Medical College of Virginia. Post Residency he completed his specialization in the field of hospital consultation and geriatric psychiatry from Beth Israel Medical Centre in New York.After completing residency and fellowship he moved to Houston in 2005 and started his private practice. He continues to practice in the field of psychiatry in various settings which include hospitals, offices, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes.

Dr. Loya has served as a Chairman, department of psychiatry for several years at HCA hospitals, Mainland, and Clear-lake campus. He also worked as a Medical Director for an Intensive outpatient treatment program for over 10 years at HCA hospital, Mainland campus.

Dr. Loya has received several awards and honors during his residency training, he served as a chief resident and received the best resident of the year award.

Dr. Loya has vast experience in the field of psychiatry. He enjoys working as a consultant in Medical hospitals and provide care to seniors with dementia and other age related psychological conditions.During his leisure times he enjoys traveling, spending quality time with his family, friends, and watching Cricket.
